ENTITLEMENT & ELIGIBILITY SUPERVISOR

PSCH Inc. a leader in Health and Human Services with offices throughout the New York Metropolitan area and New Jersey, seeks committed detail oriented professional for immediate career opportunity as Entitlement and Eligibility Supervisor in Queens, NY. Selected candidate will oversee and assist in the supervision of operational and managerial processes of Entitlements and Eligibility Services. Develop control systems to track stages of benefit applications and appeals process. Interpret data, to pin point areas of services needing improvements and/or changes. Interview prospective applicants and train newly hired employees. The EES Supervisor must be resourceful and be able to provide consumers with options and have the ability to explain possible consequences regarding consumer specific financial situation. The EES Supervisor will act as a liaison between the consumer and governmental agencies, until such a time where the consumer has been educated and can advocate for him or herself.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience needed in supervision of two or more people in a managerial setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must be able to exercise good follow- up and documentation skills and have knowledge of Microsoft office application software. Some knowledge and/or work experience with Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities populations is required. Must have a New York State driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
