NEW DANCE CLASSES AT BRONX HOUSE ON AUGUST 3
THIRD OF FOUR SUMMER SUNDAYS Bronx House School for Performing Arts will be offering three diverse Dance Workshops as part of their Summer Sunday Series on Sunday, August 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00pm. New offerings of Modern, African and Tap Dance will be introduced for students ages 6 and up. Instructors for the classes include Davalois Fearon of the Stephen Petronio Dance Company, Kim Vasquez, a teaching artist for Alvin Ailey and Amber Connors-Merino, currently on the faculty of the Bronx House School for Performing Arts. Cycle begins *Thursday, August 7th *from 6:00-8:00PM at Concourse House, 2751 Grand Concourse. Course meets for 5 workshops (1 day a week), covering financial worries around garnishment, debt collectors, credit cards,student loans, banking products, retirement, savings and more. Participants will receive a copy of their Credit Report along with an analysis, as well as guidance on credit building
and debt management. Graduates receive a completion certificate, and a detailed savings and spending plan. Access to free banking package at a local credit union

All applicants must submit required documents, complete an application and take a placement test (TABE). FOUR SUMMER SUNDAYS SPECIALTY ARTS CLASSES AT BRONX HOUSE THIS SUMMER, the program runs four consecutive Sundays beginning July 20, with each Sunday focusing on a different discipline. The first Sunday’s focus is Music and will include Latin Jazz Ensemble, String Ensemble and Rock Band classes. The Special Needs drumming program on July 27, Rhythm Connects, is an inter-generational family program for adults and their children between the ages of 7 and 17 on the Autism Spectrum. August 3 is dedicated to Dance and will include lessons in Modern, African and Tap. Finally, the Theater program on August 10 offers an afternoon exploring Fairytales, Improv and Theater Games, and Audition Prep/Scene Study. Bronx House is located at 990 Pelham Parkway South.
