Museum of Art
and the National Museum
of Fine Arts in Cuba announced that a major exchange
of works from their collections would take place this
year and next in the most sweeping collaboration
between the two countries' museums in more than 50 years.
Beat of the Bronx,
Culture for a Cause, will be
May 7, 2015 from 6 - 9 p.m. Performances, raffles,
silent auction, Yankees tickets, Prizes, and, of course,
food. Sponsors are Montefiore Hospital and Monroe College.
All proceeds will
go back to the Bronx community.
