Another 2016 Poetry Social HealingTown Hall event will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2:00-4:00pm.  Bronx Museum of the Arts will host poets Earl Majette and Bonafide Rojas, and first-generation hip-hop MC Earl Majette and poet/publisher Bonafide Rojas will perform. They’ll be joined by Bronx Writers Center Director Charlie Vázquez for a discussion on poetry and social healing as applies to their years of work with at-risk youth in homeless and detention centers in the Bronx. Their dedication has helped troubled youth to enhance public presentation techniques, public speaking and writing skills, developing higher self-esteem through the written and spoken word. The moderated town hall discussion on social transformation through the arts will end with a Q&A for public commentary and discourse. Admission is free, but RSVP is required...
