INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers if they thought that President Bush had made a strong enough case for military intervention in Iraq.

"Why not? If you're going to turn one cheek, they're going to come again and smack us on
the other cheek, and then what? Why wait for the second attack? Put a stop to it now."

Eddie Cornier

"It's overdue -- at least four or five years overdue. The time is up. We have to remember
gasoline and oil -- it runs our lives. I think it's time to get it over with."

Richard Gallagher

"I don't think Bush has a right to do that. I had too many of my family going to World
War II--my husband. My grandson, who lost his father, went into the Army. I'm worried
that they'll take him again."

Edith Kleinberg

"I think he should take more time and think about war. I think he's just doing what his dad
was going to do, and didn't have time to continue. He's not doing what the people want him
to do."

Yari Ogando

"They need to take more time -- they can't rush into things. My daughter has been asking
me, ' What if we have war? Where are we going to hide?' "

Blossom Richards
